Step 2. Presentation
1. T: Just now we did exercise a minute. What’s a minute? Sixty seconds make a minute. Sixty minutes make an hour.
Learn the new words “minute, hour” together.
Twenty-four hours make a day. Seven days make a week.
2. Today I will introduce a new friend to you. He is a dinosaur. His name is Danny. Now let’s look, what is he doing?
S1:He is riding a bike.
S2: He is walking to school.
S3: He is running.
S4: He is playing ping-pong.
T: Danny is so funny. He is doing exercise. Let’s look. Riding a bike is exercise. Walking to school is exercise. Running is exercise. Playing ping-pong is exercise, too. These are all exercise. “Exercise” what’s meaning? Can you guess?
T: Today we’ll talk about “exercise”.
